the land of fire and ice
Iceland Passage
May 13-18 2025
Iceland is a place of rugged beauty, a cold plunge for the soul.
The lonely island stands at the crossroads between the North Atlantic and the Arctic Circle. Since its settling by Norse voyagers in the 9th century, its otherworldly terrain has inspired myth and legend. The earth simmers with volcanoes and hot springs. Towering glaciers crown the landscape. 10,000 waterfalls spill out to the sea. Black sand beaches ring the rocky coast.
Iceland will challenge you and change you.

The itinerary will include some outdoor walk or hike most days, with a couple longer hikes (2-4 hours) at a moderate level during the trip. There will also be plenty of rest and relaxation. You don’t need to be an athlete, but you should be comfortable moving on your feet and raising your heart rate for a portion of the day.
